Our original stay took place in 2020. We received a deluxe room on the Club level, with a large balcony and wide views towards Palm Jumeirah. This refreshed review preserves that experience while explaining what the resort offers today.

Our deluxe room experience
As Marriott Bonvoy elite members, we were upgraded to a deluxe room on the Club level. The room felt large and modern, with a compact entrance beside the wardrobe, minibar and coffee machine.

The bed faced the windows and water beyond. Built in power points around the desk made the room practical for working.
Storage was adequate for a short resort stay. The bathroom felt smaller than the bedroom, but included both a separate shower and bathtub.
Balcony and Dubai Marina views
Our top floor balcony was unusually deep because there was no balcony directly above it. The open aspect made it one of the strongest parts of the room.
Palm Jumeirah was visible to the right. Construction was more prominent during our visit than it is in the resort’s current marketing photographs, so our images provide a useful record of that period.
Beach, pools and Jungle Bay Waterpark
The resort now lists 700 metres of private Arabian Gulf shoreline. Its family offering also includes the Jungle Bay Waterpark, an infinity pool, a children’s pool, a lazy river and water slides.
Jungle Bay has a six metre wave pool, mat racing, body slides, a large water play structure and gentler children’s slides. The complimentary kids club operates seven days a week.
These additions make the hotel more family focused than it felt during our original visit. Couples seeking a quieter stay should compare school holiday dates and ask about room position.
Club Lounge and Marriott Bonvoy benefits
The Club Lounge was closed during our 2020 stay because of temporary pandemic measures. That detail is historical and no longer describes the current operation.
Today, the hotel promotes a dedicated Le Méridien Club Lounge. It offers breakfast, light lunches, afternoon tea and evening canapés. Access depends on the room or package booked and any applicable Marriott Bonvoy benefit.

Restaurants and breakfast
Breakfast during our original stay was served at the neighbouring Westin. The spread was ordered from a menu rather than arranged as a self service buffet.

Current dining at Le Méridien includes Latest Recipe, Fish Beach Taverna and Bounty Beets. Horizon serves drinks and light food beside the infinity pool. Latitude 25 is linked to the Barasti terrace and beach setting.
The wider Mina Seyahi complex shares a large collection of restaurants and bars across Le Méridien, Westin and W. Check the current dining guide because venue days and hours vary.
Fitness and wellness
Viya Fit has Technogym equipment, group studios, an outdoor training deck and rooftop padel courts. The changing facilities include a steam room and sauna.
Water sports are also available from the resort. Specific activities and charges should be confirmed before arrival.
Location and transport
The hotel sits between Dubai Marina, Media City and the start of Palm Jumeirah. Mina Seyahi Tram Station is the most useful nearby public transport stop.
Dubai International Airport is listed as 32 kilometres away. The hotel does not provide a complimentary airport shuttle. A reserved hotel limousine is currently listed at AED 400 each way, so a taxi may offer better value.
