Updated September 2026
Marriott Hotel Al Jaddaf is a practical full service hotel for business trips, airport stopovers and visits to central Dubai. Its location offers quick road access to Downtown Dubai, the trade centre and Dubai International Airport.
Our Marriott Bonvoy upgrade placed us in a large Executive Suite. The separate living room, generous bathroom and Executive Lounge access made it feel particularly spacious by city hotel standards.

Location and Transport
Al Jaddaf has developed considerably since our stay. The hotel now promotes a complimentary shuttle to Dubai Mall, Al Jaddaf Metro Station and J1 Beach.
Dubai International Airport is close by road, though traffic still affects journey times. Marriott also lists a paid private limousine service.
The location suits travellers who need broad city access more than those who want to walk outside to restaurants and attractions.
The Executive Suite
Our suite opened into a large living room with a guest bathroom near the entrance.

Sliding doors connected the lounge with the bedroom. This created a useful division for work or longer stays.

Water and an Illy coffee machine were welcome standard amenities. The wet wipes shown in the room were part of the temporary 2020 health measures.

The desk offered useful sockets for laptops and other devices. Some furniture showed signs of age during our visit.

Bedroom and Bathroom
The bedroom connected to a large bathroom and a generous walk in wardrobe with a vanity area.

The bathroom included a separate shower and bathtub. Wood panels around the tub added a warmer, spa inspired look.

Acca Kappa toiletries were supplied during our stay. Product brands may change over time.

The bedroom view back towards the living room showed the suite’s generous scale.

Executive Lounge
The temporary restrictions described in our original review no longer represent the current setup. Marriott now lists a sixth floor Executive Lounge with access around the clock.
Current benefits include social hour drinks and light food, private meeting space and all day items to take away. Platinum, Titanium and Ambassador members receive complimentary access with one guest.
Other guests can book an eligible room or pay for access, subject to the hotel’s current terms.
Pool, Gym and Spa
The outdoor pool offers Dubai skyline views, including the Dubai Frame. A whirlpool and complimentary fitness centre are also listed.

The hotel currently lists Dreamworks Spa and Romeo & Juliet Beauty Lounge among its wellness options.
Current Dining
TerraMar is the rooftop Mediterranean restaurant and pool lounge. The Marketplace serves international food throughout the day.
BnB Sports Bar shows major games and stays open late. The Lobby Lounge offers coffee and light food, while Kimura Ya serves Japanese dishes.
Room service remains available, including service around the clock.

The Brief Review Verdict
Marriott Al Jaddaf combines large rooms with useful business facilities and strong road access. Our Executive Suite offered impressive space, while the current lounge adds meaningful value for eligible Bonvoy members.
The location is functional rather than atmospheric. It suits a business or airport focused visit better than a beach holiday.
Our verdict: A strong full service Dubai hotel for spacious suites, Executive Lounge benefits and convenient access across the city.
