Highlights from our stay

The hotel occupies the Palm Tower’s first 18 floors, with 264 rooms and 26 suites. Its central position on the Palm’s trunk was convenient for exploring.
The small lobby felt intimate, with private seating and seated check in desks. Staff explained the pools, gym, spa and evening ceremony clearly.
Butler service was a standout. During our stay, fresh tea and coffee and two daily garment pressings were complimentary. Wake up calls and shoe shining were also offered. We could contact the team by room phone or the Marriott Bonvoy app.
Our deluxe room felt light, airy and spacious. Frette bedding and robes, plus Remède bathroom products, added to the experience. The large bathroom had a separate bathtub and walk in shower. These are details of our stay, not guaranteed current amenities.
The third floor had two pools, with Cordelia between them. The family pool faced towards Burj Al Arab; the adults pool had less of a view. Attendants at both introduced themselves and helped set up our loungers.
Sunset champagne sabering at the St. Regis Bar was a highlight. Guests received a small glass after the ceremony during our visit. The team was attentive and easy to talk to. A separate smoking room with a fireplace recalled the New York flagship.

What to know before booking

Marriott now lists Palm Jumeirah Mall, St. Regis Gardens and access to The View at The Palm. Its dining lineup includes RÜYA, Cordelia, Dip Pool Bar and the St. Regis Bar. Afternoon tea is listed at Cordelia.

KYMA Beach Club replaces the old planned beach club announcement. Marriott specifies guests above 21 and complimentary hotel transfers for resident guests. Confirm entry terms and availability with the concierge.

The usual offering also includes round the clock butler service and St. Regis Spa. These listings do not establish which facilities will operate during the reopening period.

Practical tips and value

Ask about the actual view before choosing a room. Not every room offers a sea view; we enjoyed the ninth floor outlook.
Compare the final room price with breakfast, taxes and cancellation terms included. The old card promotion and breakfast price from our original visit are no longer booking guidance.
Confirm any Bonvoy breakfast or upgrade entitlement for your booking. Do not treat an upgrade as guaranteed.

Our stay stood out for personal service, a generous deluxe room and excellent pool attendants. It suits travellers who value those touches alongside shopping and dining access. A beach resort may be a better fit if sand outside your room is the priority. For now, the announced reopening date is the first detail to check.
