Sitting on the first 18 floors of the newly constructed Palm tower, there are 264 rooms and 26 suites inside the hotel. Located in the middle of the trunk of Palm Jumeirah gives guests an ideal location with stunning views of Dubai and easy access to the mainland.
The hotel is connected to the Nakheel mall on the palm which as access to a huge number of other entertainment, shopping and food and beverage outlets. Highly anticipated along with the opening of the hotel will be the new Sushi Samba restaurant opening on the 51st floor of the Palm Tower.
The lobby is small and intimate with plenty of private seating areas, a lobby cafe, St Regis bar as well as access to the Nakheel mall and check in area to the left side. The check in is done at seated desks and the team is very helpful to explain where everything is located in the hotel, such as the gym, spa, and pools as well as the daily ceremony in the St Regis bar and butler service.
A signature feature of St Regis hotels is their butler service which can be used to assist you with a variety of tasks such as in person wake up calls in the morning to provide newspaper of your choice, weather reports and drawing of the curtains, bring fresh tea or coffee to your room (complimentary), assist with pressings (2 are complimentary daily), shoe shine services and more. The butler service can be availed by calling from the phone in your room or through the Marriott Bonvoy application which has a built in chat feature.
The rooms are very well appointed, very light and airy with plenty of spaces and amenities. St Regis has world class partnerships with amazing brands to provide guests with some of the best products such as Frette bed sheets and bathrobes and Laboratoire Remede products in the bathroom. Even the standard, called deluxe rooms, as pictured below are complete with very large bathrooms with separate bathtubs and walk in shower.
There are two pools at the hotel, one for families on the east side (facing Burj al Arab) and another adult only pool on the opposite side (with less of a view). The service at both is excellent, from the moment you walk in, there is an attendant who introduces himself and helps you set up the lounge chair. The pools are located on the 3rd floor with the Cordelia all day dining restaurant in between the two, so you can access the restaurant from either side. There is also a ladies only restaurant called Her by Caroline Astor on the same floor.
A must visit in the hotel is their daily champagne sabering marking the transition from day to night, with a small ceremony at the St Regis bar at sunset. Following the ceremony everyone is given a small glass to celebrate. The bar like the lobby is intimate and the team (including the mixologists) are attentive, super helpful and excellent conversationalists. At the back of the bar there is a separate, private closed off smoking room with a fireplace – reminiscent of the original flagship St Regis hotel in New York City.

St Regis Hotel Dubai Palm will also have its own beach club located on the west side of the Palm on the trunk which will officially open as of October 2021 sharing the same beach as the Fairmont The Palm.
The views from some of the rooms might not have a sea view so ask for as high a room as possible as morning sunrise and the ocean are always a pleasure to see in the morning.
