Our Stay: Highlights
- Holiday atmosphere: Arabic design details continue from the exterior into the public spaces. Modern touches soften the traditional style. We felt on holiday as soon as we entered.
- Waterfront views: Our outlook took in the Palm, its crescent and the Dubai Marina skyline. Bluewaters and Ain Dubai were visible farther along the coast.
- Spacious room: Our deluxe room had a balcony, walk in closet and large bathroom. A bathtub, separate shower, lounge chair and desk made it easy to settle in.
- Room coffee: A pod coffee machine was a useful inclusion.
- Dining: We liked the choice of restaurants, including Little Miss India and the Asian concept BA. Outdoor dining was part of the waterfront appeal, though comfort depends on the season.
- Breakfast: We ate at Flow during early 2021. Staff assisted with the buffet under the Covid procedures then in place. We were told that items outside the display, such as avocado, cost extra. This records our visit, not a current breakfast surcharge policy.
Current Resort Facilities
The official guest services guide lists a private beach, eight outdoor pools and a children’s pool. Serenity Spa and the Fairmont Falcon Kids’ Club add options beyond the beach.
Connecting rooms, cots and paid childcare services are also listed. Ask about age limits, supervision and charges before relying on the kids’ programme.
Fairmont Gold is a separate consideration from a standard room. Selected Gold categories advertise lounge benefits including breakfast, afternoon tea and evening refreshments. Check the exact inclusions for your category.
Things to Note
- Construction on neighbouring plots caused some morning and daytime noise during our April 2021 visit. We have not verified today’s construction conditions.
- The beach frontage felt more confined than before as the surrounding area developed. Do not use our old comments to infer current access rights for private residences.
- A hotel apartment booking and a privately rented residence may have different facility access. Obtain written confirmation from the operator.
- Room views vary. A balcony alone does not guarantee the outlook shown in our photographs.
Luxury Travel Advisor reported damage at the property on 28 February 2026. The hotel’s official website currently advertises stays and resort activities. Confirm any remaining works and facility restrictions directly before travel.

- Check eligible ALL Accor benefits without assuming upgrades or early arrival access.
- Confirm pool, beach and spa availability, especially if these drive your booking.
A package can be useful when you plan to eat at the resort. It may offer less value if most days involve meals elsewhere.
