Resort Setting and Beach
The hotel has a secluded private beach and two outdoor pools. A protected lagoon kept the water calm during our stay.
The large property is divided across several wings. Learning the route between rooms, restaurants, pools and the beach can take time.

Our Pool View Club Room
Check in was quick at one of the lobby desks. The large lobby also included a café and several seating areas.
Our Club room provided a separate sitting area, balcony and a spacious bathroom. The traditional Sheraton decor was well maintained.
Club Benefits During Our Stay
The Club lounge was closed during our February 2021 visit. The hotel provided its replacement benefits in the lobby café.
These included coffee, tea and soft drinks during the day. Afternoon tea and evening snacks were served at set times.
Marriott’s current overview does not clearly describe lounge access or serving times. Confirm present Club benefits directly before selecting a Club rate.
Breakfast and Restaurants
The breakfast buffet during our stay offered pastries, cereal, cold items and hot stations. Egg, pancake and waffle choices were also available.
Temporary health rules required disposable gloves and staff assistance at some stations. Those arrangements reflected February 2021 and are not presented as current policy.
Current dining includes Marasea, Al Qubtan, Gusti, Arjwan, Al Mahatta, Link Café and the Pool Bar. Gusti is the main international buffet restaurant.
Family Activities, Spa and Fitness
Current family facilities include a supervised Kids Club and an indoor games room. The resort also advertises beachfront padel courts, table tennis and watercraft rental.
Shine Spa provides treatments and relaxation facilities. Sheraton Fitness contains cardio and strength equipment.
The hotel previously issued red towel cards for pool and beach towels. Treat that as an observation from our stay and confirm the present process after check in.
