- One of the nicest and most comfortable cinema experiences in Dubai, the Dolby experience at Reel Cinema is the highest category below Reel Platinum Suites. Enjoy large leather (or leather like) seats with a large edge to edge screen. As you lean back the seats also recline back to provide additional comfort.
- The main reason you pay the extra premium is for the Dolby in the Dolby experience which is known for its Dolby Atmos flowing sound that provides true 3D audio – hearing is believing in this case. Likewise the video and picture quality in the Dolby experience is improved as well with a higher color ratio capturing each scene in stunning detail. It is after all why you come to the cinema to experience the film as clear and crisp as possible.
- Prices are 50 AED (approx. 14 USD) for the regular Dolby seats (front row) and 75 AED (approx 20 USD) for the Dolby Plus seats in the mid and upper sections.

- During Covid and as of May 2021 the cinema operates at 50% capacity. That means when you are booking your ticket you will see half the cinema is blocked off, that does not mean its sold out but just that Reel cinema keeps 2 seats blocked for every 2 seats it sells. This is actually a positive for most cinema goers as it provides additional privacy and comfort.

- Check out the offers tab on Reel Cinemas (linked here) as there is a promotion for almost every bank credit card. Most of the offers are for buy one get one free movie tickets, however some offer 50% off each ticket. The later is good if you are going with a friend and the 50% off offer is better if you will be going alone.
- U By Emaar Gold and Platinum members get free popcorn and a soft drink of your choice per ticket, regardless of the offer above. So essentially you can get a 75 AED (approx. 20 USD) ticket (with buy one get one) so you get 2 tickets for 75 AED (approx. 20 USD) including 2 popcorns and 2 soft drinks – that is a pretty good deal!
- Make sure to sign up for U By Emaar (click here) and provide your membership number whenever purchasing a cinema ticket so you will earn points. Redemptions are also possible with U By Emaar points to purchase movie tickets at Reel Cinemas. This is one of the cheapest redemptions and uses for your points.
- When ordering the popcorn you can ask for it mixed, there are three flavors available: salted, caramel and cheese. You can ask for salted and caramel mixed and the staff will fill half half and mix it for you. Make sure to ask for extra wet wipes and napkins!
