The market is spread across 43,000 square feet and has 17 restaurants and 3 bars located inside Souk al Bahar adjacent to Dubai Mall.
The restaurants as of April 2021 are Folly Workshop (British), Masti (Indian), Fulvio’s (Italian), Reif (Japanese), Local Fire by Mattar Farm (barbecue), Pickl (fried chicken), Pit Fire Pizza (pizza), Night Jar (coffee and dessert), Brix (dessert), Scoopi (dessert), Al Fanar (Emirati), Liban by Allo Beirut (Lebanese), Little Erth (vegan), Two Leaves by Project Chaiwala (coffee and tea), BB Social Dining (Asian), Vietnamese Foodies (Vietnamese), and Long Teng (Chinese). Reviews for each linked.
Originally the concept was launched in Lisbon, Portugal and has been an international hit opening locations across the world in cities like London and New York. This market brings the best the city has to offer in a central location where you can test and taste bites from different restaurants all in one location.

Due to Covid capacity limitations there can be a queue outside where you have to wait 10-30 minutes to enter this Market.
The portions are regular sized so come with friends to share multiple dishes between everyone.
Word is that there will be a Time Out event pass that will allow you to pay one fee, like a Time Out Market brunch where you get a set number of dishes (to choose from any restaurants) or drinks for a set price.

Some of the restaurants, such as Mattar Farm have a 45 minute wait. A good hack to avoid waiting in line to order is to download the Time Out Market app on iOS or Android and you can place your order directly on the app. Make sure you have push notifications enabled to let you know when your order is ready for collection as you will not get a physical buzzer this way.
Come at off peak hours to avoid the queues as you can stay as long as you like once you are inside. There is a gorgeous outdoor terrace balcony with views over Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Fountain shows.
