Residence Inn Al Jaddaf exceeded our expectations during our April 2021 stay. Check in was seamless, and the attentive team made this small residential hotel feel welcoming.

The suite design, kitchen and breakfast were particular strengths. This review preserves that experience, with important booking cautions added below.

Residence Inn Al Jaddaf: Details

Our stay was at the property on Oud Metha Road, Al Jaddaf, Dubai. The previously published telephone was +971 4 872 1111.

Booking status needs confirmation. On 23 September 2026, the former Marriott property page redirected to its general Dubai hotel directory. That does not establish whether the hotel has closed, changed brand or moved its booking page.

TravelAge West’s hotel directory still lists the property and its contact details. Treat these as a reference, not confirmation of current availability. Verify the operator and booking channel before paying.

Our Stay: Highlights

Welcoming design: The lobby felt like a lounge or living room. Check in took place seated at a desk, reinforcing the residential feel.
Long stay facilities: The 134 suite property had a self service laundry room, gym and rooftop pool. The deck faced the Downtown skyline, with Burj Khalifa in view.
Lobby market: Drinks and premium snacks were available, including Mirzam chocolate from the UAE. We liked the gift selection and focus on quality.
Helpful team: Security and the bell team helped with parking and unloading. Reception was friendly and knowledgeable. Housekeeping was easy to reach when we needed something extra.
Practical kitchen: Our suite had a microwave, electric cooktop, fridge, freezer, toaster and kettle. We missed having a proper coffee machine, although coffee was available downstairs.
Compact bathrooms: These were smaller than the living spaces but functional. The layout felt suitable for a night, a week or a month.
Breakfast: Hot breakfast was included during our stay. We chose from an à la carte menu alongside a buffet. Options included eggs, vegan breakfast hash, pastries, Arabic mezze, yogurt and juices. A small smoothie shot was another thoughtful touch. We also appreciated the La Cimbali coffee machine.

Things to Note

Neighbouring plots were under construction in April 2021. Disturbance was limited during our visit, but this is not a current construction report.
The rooftop pool was mostly shaded. We found it better for soaking and skyline views than swimming laps.
Our original driving estimates were roughly five minutes to the creek and ten to Downtown or DIFC. Allow extra time for traffic; these are not guaranteed transfer times.
The breakfast menu and grocery service described here belong to our original stay. Their present availability has not been verified.

Booking Tips and Value

The kitchen, storage and included breakfast made the hotel appealing for a longer stay. Value depends on how much you use these facilities, not just the nightly rate.

Confirm the property’s present name, operator and official reservation channel.
Ask which breakfast, laundry and parking services are included in the quoted total.
Check the exact suite layout, cancellation terms and any longer stay deposit.
Ask about nearby construction and request a quieter room if needed.

During our stay, a grocery list handed to reception before 9am allowed staff to stock the fridge. We paid for the groceries, with no service charge. Confirm whether this arrangement still exists.
