Our 2021 Experience
- Rustic counter: The outlet had a large pizza oven, open preparation area and Parmigiano Reggiano wheels used to finish pasta.
- Build your own pasta: Guests selected pasta, sauce and toppings. Choices included tagliatelle, fusilli and penne, with Alfredo, rosa, tomato or pesto sauces.
- Cheese wheel finish: Watching pasta mixed in the cheese wheel made a simple food hall meal more memorable.
- Useful choice: Pizza slices and pasta made this an easy option for a quick meal while shopping.
Prices shown in our photographs and the old AED 40 combo belong to 2021. They should not be treated as current offers.
What We Ate
We tried tagliatelle with basil pesto and spinach, penne with rosa sauce and Parmesan, and a regular Margherita pizza. The pasta offered plenty of choice and was prepared in view of the counter.
The sauce tasted slightly salty to us. That may have reflected the amount of Parmesan, and it remains a matter of personal preference.
Things to Note
- Food Central used communal seating during our visit. Finding a table before collecting food was helpful at busy times.
- The outdoor seating nearby included a smoking area and views towards Dubai Creek and the city skyline.
