The Location
The hotel sits in Dubai Production City, formerly known as IMPZ. It is close to Dubai Sports City, Motor City and Jumeirah Golf Estates. Dubai Expo City is also within reach by car.
This is not the ideal base for travellers who want to walk to the beach or Dubai Marina. A car or taxi makes the stay much easier. Marriott currently states that the hotel shuttle is temporarily unavailable. The nearby F34 and F38 buses connect with Dubai Internet City and Jumeirah Golf Estates Metro stations.
The Studio Experience
The hotel is designed around longer stays. Its large shared Living Room works as a relaxed place to sit, meet or work. The pool and gym add useful options when you are staying for more than a few nights.
Our upgrade was to a larger studio with a full sofa. The overall layout felt practical, with a desk, bed, bathroom and kitchen arranged within one open room.
Desk and Living Space
The desk sits along one side of the room, with a large television mounted nearby. It gave us enough room for emails and light work without taking over the living area.
The Kitchen
The kitchen was one of the strongest parts of the room. It included tableware, cutlery and plates, plus an electric stove, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge and freezer.
That setup is valuable for a longer visit. It lets guests prepare simple meals and reduces the need to order food every day.
The Bed and Bathroom
The bed felt large and comfortable during our stay. Housekeeping was provided twice each week, which remains the schedule shown by Marriott for the property.
The bathroom is directly beside the entrance. It felt spacious and included a walk in shower with the everyday amenities we needed.
A welcome amenity of chocolates and fruit was waiting in the room during our visit. Amenities can vary by booking and guest status, so this should not be treated as a guaranteed inclusion.
Breakfast, Pool and Gym
Complimentary Rise breakfast is included. Marriott currently lists breakfast from 6:00 AM until 11:00 AM every day. The Living Room also offers complimentary coffee and tea throughout the day.
The outdoor pool is on the ground level, beside a patio and outdoor seating. The gym is compact but includes cardio equipment and free weights. Complimentary bicycles are also listed for guests.
