Our Room Experience

The room felt modern, spacious and well insulated from airport noise. A comfortable king bed, chaise and small table made it suitable for both rest and work. Universal power and USB outlets were placed beside the bed.

The bathroom had a separate walk in shower and a wide vanity. Our balcony overlooked the landscaped courtyard and long swimming pool.

A welcome amenity and a lobby café voucher were provided to us as Marriott Bonvoy Platinum members during this stay. These benefits are not guaranteed. They can vary by status, rate and current hotel policy.

Breakfast and Dining

Breakfast at Chon Som offered a broad international and Asian buffet during our visit. Fresh fruit, salads, cold cuts, pastries, yoghurt, waffles, Thai dishes and dim sum were all represented.

The hotel currently lists four venues. Chon Som is the main all day restaurant. Big Bite serves casual food, Lobby Deli stays open late and Pool Bar handles refreshments by the water. Breakfast is charged unless included in the booked rate or an eligible benefit.

Airport Shuttle and Location

Suvarnabhumi Airport is about 4.9 km away. Marriott advertises a complimentary hourly shuttle operating around the clock. Seats and pickup details should be arranged with the hotel in advance.

Don Mueang Airport is much farther away at about 44.1 km, and no hotel shuttle is listed. The hotel therefore makes most sense for Suvarnabhumi flights.

Pool, Spa and Fitness

The 40 metre outdoor pool gives the property a more relaxed feel than many airport hotels. A 24 hour fitness centre and Let’s Relax Spa add useful options during a longer layover.
