Atmosphere
Ernst is designed as a traditional Bavarian Biergarten and Wirtshaus. The venue has 429 seats, long wooden tables and a large bar. Blue and red accents add to the beer hall look.
Sport is shown on multiple screens. Live entertainment and seasonal celebrations can make the room much louder. Book ahead for major matches or themed events.
Food
The menu centres on pretzels, sausages, schnitzel and pork knuckle. Portions are generous and work well for sharing.
We tried the pretzel, bratwurst, Weisswurst and schnitzel with spätzle. Staff explained how to remove the Weisswurst skin, which was a useful touch. The sausages were the highlight of the visit.
At the time, a single pretzel cost AED 20 and a pretzel tree cost AED 70. Those are historical prices, not current quotations. Use the latest menu when planning a budget.
Beer and Drinks
German beer is central to the concept. Drinks are available in different measures, including traditional larger serves. The range can change, so ask what is on tap.
The official site currently advertises a weekday lunch from 12 noon to 3 pm. It also lists happy hour from Sunday to Wednesday, 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Selected drinks are advertised at AED 40 in October 2026.
Beer mixes such as Radler may also be available. Availability and prices should be checked on the day.
Outdoor Seating
The terrace can be enjoyable in cooler weather. Flies were a problem during our visit, which made outdoor dining less comfortable. Indoor tables are the safer choice in warmer conditions.

Ernst sits inside 25hours Hotel One Central, close to Dubai World Trade Centre and the Museum of the Future. The nearest Metro access is around the Trade Centre and Emirates Towers area.
