Setting and Atmosphere
The hotel has the bright, social style associated with Aloft. The lobby combines reception, seating, a bar and a pool table. The front desk operates around the clock.
Batu Belig Beach is close enough for a short walk. Seminyak restaurants and shops are spread out, so Grab or Gojek remains useful. The location can also work for travellers splitting time between Seminyak and Canggu.
Rooms
Our king room was modern and practical. It included a comfortable bed, open storage, a desk and useful power sockets. Coffee and tea facilities were also provided.
The bathroom had a walk in shower and a separate vanity area. The layout used the available space well.
Road sound was noticeable in our room. Music from the rooftop could also be heard on upper floors. Light sleepers should request a quieter position away from the road and entertainment areas.
Rooftop Pool and Dining
KAHUNA is the hotel’s rooftop restaurant and pool area. Marriott currently lists it as open daily from 7 am to 11 pm. Hours can change for events.
The infinity pool is a pleasant place to cool down. It is more of a social hotel pool than a quiet resort pool.
W XYZ Bar provides the main lobby drinking area. Re:Fuel offers food and drinks to go throughout the day. The Re:Charge gym is open 24 hours.
Breakfast
Breakfast during our stay was a strong point. The selection changed across the visit and included pastries alongside hot items. Staff were attentive and kept the service running smoothly.
Breakfast is not automatically included with every rate. Bonvoy benefits also depend on status and the current programme rules. Check the rate details before booking.
Airport Transport
Ngurah Rai International Airport is about 14 kilometres away. Marriott does not list a complimentary hotel shuttle.
Paid transport can be arranged in advance. The published price is time sensitive, so confirm the current charge with the hotel. App based transport is another practical option.
