Location and Atmosphere
W Doha sits in West Bay, close to offices, embassies, the Corniche and central attractions. It feels more social and design focused than a traditional business hotel.

The Room Experience
The standard room was spacious and practical despite its playful W design. A large desk and numerous electrical connections made it easy to work.
The room also offered city views, tea and coffee facilities, a stocked minibar and generous storage. The bed felt comfortable, while the thick W slippers were a memorable detail.

Breakfast during the stay was served at Market by Jean Georges. The assisted buffet covered familiar cooked and continental choices, alongside changing fruit and juice selections.

The wellness floor includes a spa, gym and outdoor pool. During the original visit, the pool was shaded for much of the day and had limited space for sun loungers.
A narrow upper section provided space for short laps, but the pool was better suited to cooling off than focused swim training. Guests prioritising a large pool deck should consider this before booking.
Beach Access
Marriott now includes access to Doha Beach Sands with hotel rooms. The beach is separate from the hotel and only a short journey away. Confirm transport arrangements, opening times and any seasonal conditions with the hotel.
