The Renaissance Paris Nobel Tour Eiffel offers a quieter alternative to staying beside Paris’s busiest landmarks. Its 16th arrondissement location feels residential, yet the Eiffel Tower, Trocadéro and Arc de Triomphe remain easy to reach.
Our original stay found a comfortable garden facing room, a generous bathroom and a calm base for western Paris. The hotel has since changed its restaurant and published updated room information.

Location and Transport
Avenue Raymond Poincaré sits between Trocadéro and Place Victor Hugo. Both areas have Métro connections, bakeries, cafés and neighbourhood shops. The Eiffel Tower is within walking distance for many visitors.
The Arc de Triomphe and Champs Élysées are also nearby. Central sights across the river require more travel. The calm setting is a fair trade for guests who prefer a residential base.
Rooms and the Historic Garden
The hotel occupies four buildings arranged around a planted garden. Marriott connects part of the site’s history to Alfred Nobel and his former orchid greenhouse.
Our room had a king size bed and looked towards the garden. Its bathroom was notably spacious by Paris standards. At the time, some decorative finishes felt less polished than the historic exterior suggested.
Room designs can differ across the buildings. Check recent photographs and ask about the outlook before arrival.
Dining and Facilities
Le Relais du Parc is no longer the current restaurant. Marriott now lists Maison Revka, with French and Slavic influences. Its garden terrace is a major draw in suitable weather.
The fitness room includes cardio machines, free weights and strength equipment. This remains a city hotel rather than a resort, with no extensive leisure complex.

Bonvoy benefits depend on status, rate and availability. Confirm breakfast, upgrades and late check out in the Marriott app or with the hotel.

Original Stay Highlights
- The hotel is in an elegant residential part of Paris. Marriott connects the property to Alfred Nobel and his former orchid greenhouse. Trocadéro and Victor Hugo are nearby, while walking and driving times vary with the exact destination and traffic.
- There are amazing small French bakeries along the street as well as cafes to immerse yourself into the French lifestyle as you are staying at the hotel. For these reasons alone the Renaissance hotel in Paris makes for a great base camp for your stay.
- The bathrooms are large and spacious for Parisian standards with all the standard amenities included.
- Guests have access to a compact fitness room. During the original stay, dining operated as Le Relais du Parc. The current restaurant is Maison Revka, with a garden terrace that opens when conditions permit.
Things We Noted During the Stay
- The interiors of the hotel could use some uplift and redesign as it feels out of place in this classic building. It feels as though something is missing to finish out the rooms.
