Location in Al Jaddaf
The hotel sits in Jaddaf Waterfront, between Sheikh Zayed Road and Al Khail Road. It was convenient for Dubai Creek, Downtown Dubai, Dubai World Trade Centre and the airport.

Lobby and Rooms
The hotel felt smaller and more intimate than many Dubai chain properties. Reception sat beside MoMo 2 Go, with plenty of informal seating around the lobby.
Our room used a sleek, modern design. It included a work desk, seating area, wardrobe and minibar. The creek and Festival City outlook added interest without making the room feel busy.
The bathroom door took up a fair amount of space when opened. A switchable glass panel separated the bathroom from the bedroom, which may not suit every guest.
Breakfast and Dining
Breakfast was one of the best parts of our stay. MoMo Bistro combined a smart design with a varied buffet and live cooking stations. Pastries, salads and hot dishes changed during the stay.
Marriott still lists MoMo Bistro, MoMo 2 Go and a Pool Bar on the hotel page. These venues should be treated as unavailable while the property remains closed.
Pool, Gym and Spa
The upper floors held the wellness facilities. The gym was compact but purpose built, with broad views over the creek and nearby roads. Eleven Wellness and Spa provided treatments beside the fitness area.
The rooftop pool used its limited space well. It had about ten loungers during our visit, plus an outdoor shower, whirlpool and small bar. Built in shades on the loungers were a thoughtful detail.
What Has Changed
- Marriott now marks the hotel as closed and unavailable for future bookings.
- The former complimentary local shuttle should be treated as historical.
- Marriott states that the hotel does not provide an airport shuttle.
- The published airport transport price is time sensitive and not relevant while the hotel is closed.
- No reopening date is currently shown on the official page.
Tips if the Hotel Reopens
- Confirm the reopening directly with Marriott before making plans.
- Check whether the rooftop pool, spa and all dining venues have returned.
- Ask for a higher floor if the creek outlook matters.
- Compare breakfast inclusive rates before booking.
- Confirm transport arrangements because the former local shuttle may not return.
Value
During our stay, the boutique scale, strong breakfast and rooftop facilities made the hotel feel better than a basic Courtyard. Its Al Jaddaf position also worked well for reaching several parts of Dubai.
There is no current value judgement to make while the hotel is closed. Travellers seeking a nearby alternative should compare Element Al Jaddaf, Marriott Al Jaddaf and FORM Hotel.
