Kitchen6 at JW Marriott Marquis Dubai is built around scale and choice. The international buffet uses six live cooking stations and covers far more than a standard hotel breakfast.
Our visit showed how wide that choice can be. Fresh fruit, yoghurt, breads and cold cuts sit alongside Arabic, Indian and Asian dishes. There are also dedicated egg, noodle and children’s stations.
This Kitchen6 breakfast review covers the selection, setting, practical details and value. Breakfast items can change each day, so treat the photographs as a guide rather than a fixed menu.

Setting and atmosphere
Kitchen6 is a large hotel restaurant, but the buffet is split into clear sections. This makes the choice easier to explore. The dining room uses light colours, warm wood and simple modern furniture.
The egg and noodle counters prepare food to order, so waits are possible when several guests arrive together. An earlier visit may make those stations easier to use.
Marriott currently says that Kitchen6 is enhancing its interactive dining experience. Breakfast may operate as Business Bay by Kitchen6 during this work. Ask at check in for the correct breakfast room.
Cold buffet and healthy choices
The cold section was one of the strongest parts of the spread during our visit. It included yoghurt, chia pudding and Bircher muesli in individual jars. Bowls of fresh berries and citrus fruit sat beside nuts, seeds and dried fruit.
There was also smoked salmon, turkey ham, beef pancetta and a range of cheeses. Middle Eastern choices included hummus, avocado hummus and mint labneh. Salad leaves and fresh vegetables added lighter options.
Food allergen signs were displayed at several stations. Guests with an allergy should still speak with the kitchen team before serving themselves.
Bakery, pancakes and gluten free choices
The bakery counter offered sliced loaves, bread rolls, croissants and pastries. Nearby jars held preserves, honey and chocolate spreads.
Pancakes came with berry compote, cream and sweet sauces. A separate gluten free area had wrapped croissants, bread rolls and muffins. Separation helps, but guests with severe allergies should confirm the handling process.
Hot breakfast and live stations
Kitchen6 describes its concept as six interactive cooking stations. That breadth was clear in the hot selection. Familiar breakfast dishes included shakshuka, mushrooms, baked beans, foul medames, beef bacon and crispy potatoes.
The Asian section had noodles, fish and beef with oyster sauce. A live noodle counter offered different noodles, vegetables, sauces and clear soup. Indian choices included samosas, lemon rice, chana masala and several chutneys.
The egg station listed fried eggs, omelettes, poached eggs and eggs Benedict. Order directly from the cook and collect the plate when ready. Special requests may depend on how busy the station is.
Drinks and children’s section
Juice dispensers and infused water were available during our visit. A lemon and mint welcome drink was also served at the Garden by Kitchen6 area.
The children’s corner combined cereals with doughnuts, muffins, sweets and milk. Colouring sheets, crayons and child friendly bowls made the station easier for families to use.
Quality and value
The main reason to choose Kitchen6 is variety. It suits groups because diners can build very different breakfasts from the same buffet.
Value depends on the rate charged and how much of the range you will use. A room package that includes breakfast can simplify the decision. Marriott Bonvoy benefits vary by booking, status and welcome benefit choice, so confirm eligibility in the app or at reception.
If you prefer a quieter breakfast with fewer choices, the hotel’s Executive Lounge may be more convenient when access is included.
