FORM Hotel Dubai Review | Design Hotel in Al Jaddaf

Updated October 2026.

FORM Hotel Al Jaddaf is a design led Dubai hotel with 136 rooms and a practical location near Al Jadaf Metro Station. It was the first Middle East member of Design Hotels. The experience focuses on clean architecture, compact rooms and useful essentials rather than resort style extras.

FORM Hotel Dubai at a glance

  • Location: Al Jaddaf Culture Village, Dubai
  • Rooms: 136
  • Check in: 3pm
  • Check out: Noon
  • Parking: Complimentary on site and valet parking
  • Pets: Not permitted
  • Airport: Dubai International Airport is about 9.7 kilometres away

Location and arrival

FORM is close to Al Jadaf Metro Station, making it easier to reach central Dubai without relying entirely on taxis. The immediate neighbourhood felt sparse during the original stay, so the hotel works best for guests who plan their transport.

Dubai International Airport is a short drive away, although traffic can change journey times. The hotel does not currently list an airport shuttle. For another extended stay option nearby, see our Element Al Jaddaf review. Our Marriott Al Jaddaf review covers a larger full service alternative.

Design and atmosphere

The architecture and interiors were the immediate draw. FORM feels polished without being fussy. Reception and security staff were friendly during the visit, and the public spaces carried the same restrained style as the rooms.

A small local gift shop and meeting facilities add practical value. Design details feel considered rather than decorative, which helps the hotel stand apart from many conventional business properties.

Rooms and suites

The suite visited used a simple layout with a separate living area, comfortable bed and two bathrooms. Storage and work space were compact but useful. Water and Nightjar coffee were welcome local touches.

The minimal design supports a short city stay well. Guests who travel with substantial luggage should compare room sizes carefully. The standard Cozy Rooms are much smaller than the 50 square metre Mega Room suite.

Breakfast and dining

Breakfast was included with the rate used for the original stay. It offered an elevated continental spread with breads, pastries, cold dishes and a rotating selection of hot food. Current breakfast inclusion depends on the rate booked.

Long Hill Brasserie and Roots Kitchen are the hotel’s present dining venues. Breakfast is currently advertised from 7am to 11am. Check the official dining information for current menus and opening times.

Pool and fitness

The rooftop has a 25 metre temperature controlled pool, currently advertised from 8am to 8pm. It is attractive but narrow, so it works best when only a few guests are swimming laps. The rooftop fitness centre is open 24 hours and has good views towards Dubai Creek.

Highlights

  • Distinctive design and carefully planned interiors
  • Close access to Al Jadaf Metro Station
  • Comfortable suite and locally roasted coffee
  • Rooftop lap pool and 24 hour gym
  • Complimentary parking

Things to note

  • The local area offers limited street life and dining.
  • Standard rooms are compact, so check the floor area before booking.
  • The rooftop pool can feel crowded with only a few swimmers.
  • Breakfast is not included with every rate.

Before booking

Compare the Cozy Room and Mega Room carefully. Confirm breakfast terms, pool hours and any venue changes before arrival. Travellers comparing more Dubai options can also use our Dubai hotel guide.
