Cherryhouse Dubai Review | Specialty Coffee, Bakery and Dining

Cherryhouse Dubai brings a specialty coffee roastery, artisan bakery and all day kitchen into one striking Al Safa space. The concept is ambitious, yet the experience remains easy to understand. Guests can watch coffee being prepared, browse fresh bread and pastries, or settle in for a full meal.

During our visit, the room was busy and energetic. The open production areas gave the café a sense of theatre. Our table included an iced black coffee, a milk coffee and a generously topped laminated almond pastry.

What Makes Cherryhouse Different?

The open format is the clearest point of difference. Coffee roasting, brewing and baking are not hidden behind a wall. The machinery, grinders, bakery racks and pastry displays become part of the room.

Cherryhouse also gives equal weight to bread and coffee. This is not a small espresso bar with a few bought in pastries. The bakery counter holds sourdough loaves, laminated pastries, sweet bakes and savoury options. A separate kitchen menu adds more substantial dishes.

The Coffee and Bakery

The coffee programme presents origin information clearly. Cards beside the grinders identify the country, producer, variety, process, altitude and expected flavour notes. During our visit, the display included an Ethiopia Elto Sama micro lot and a Brazil Yellow Bourbon.

Our iced black coffee arrived in a substantial glass. A milk coffee came in Cherryhouse branded ceramic. The presentation was clean and consistent with the premium positioning.

The almond topped laminated pastry showed defined layers and a generous nut coating. It also paired naturally with both coffee styles. The counter offered a broad choice, so a quick coffee and pastry visit is possible without ordering from the kitchen.

Bakery Prices Seen During Our Visit

  • Cheese croissant: AED 22 before VAT
  • Cardamom bun: AED 27 before VAT
  • Zaatar and Labneh: AED 29 before VAT
  • Blueberry Almond Brioche: AED 29 before VAT
  • Salted Honey Swirl: AED 30 before VAT
  • Raspberry Finger: AED 37 before VAT
  • Truffle Mushroom Danish: AED 40 before VAT

These prices are a dated snapshot rather than a permanent menu. Check the live menu for current availability and pricing.

Food and Menu Choice

The digital menu is divided into kitchen, bakery, roastery, beverages and retail items. That makes Cherryhouse suitable for several types of visit. You can stop for coffee, collect bread, order a pastry, or have a seated meal.

Sweet and savoury bakery choices were both well represented. The display included fruit pastries, buns, brioche, cheese pastries and savoury laminated bakes. The kitchen also serves plated dishes, including breakfast style choices.

Design and Atmosphere

Deep cherry red is used throughout the interior. It appears on the ceiling, tiled columns, espresso machines, staff uniforms and decorative features. Glass block walls, metal details and warm lighting keep the room contemporary.

Seating varies across the space. There are dining tables, counter seats, booths and lower lounge chairs near the windows. The room was crowded during our visit, so the mood felt energetic rather than quiet.

The design remains visually coherent even in the smaller details. Branded cups, menu screens and the warm toned washroom all follow the same palette.

Value

Cherryhouse sits in the premium end of Dubai’s café market. The visible bakery prices support that position. You are paying for the setting, the open craft concept and the breadth of the operation as well as the food and coffee.

A coffee and pastry visit offers the simplest way to experience the concept. A full kitchen order will raise the spend. The large space and table service make it feel closer to an all day restaurant than a basic coffee shop.

Things to Note

  • The café can be very busy, especially at popular breakfast and weekend times.
  • Some display prices were marked as excluding VAT during our visit.
  • Pastry availability changes through the day.
  • The official website provides separate bakery, roastery and full menus.
  • Closing times differ across current listings, so confirm before a late visit.

Tips for Visiting Cherryhouse Dubai

  • Arrive early if you want a quieter look at the roastery and bakery.
  • Check the display before choosing from the digital menu.
  • Ask about the current single origin options if coffee is your main reason for visiting.
  • Choose a pastry and coffee for a shorter, lower cost introduction.
  • Allow extra time during busy periods because the venue attracts both takeaway and dine in guests.

The Brief Review Verdict

Cherryhouse is one of Dubai’s more complete café concepts. The open roastery and bakery give the visit a clear identity, while the large menu makes it suitable for more than a quick coffee.

The strongest reason to visit is the combination of craft and setting. Coffee focused guests can study origin details and watch the baristas. Bakery fans get a wide selection of bread and laminated pastries. The premium prices and busy atmosphere will not suit everyone, but the concept is distinctive and carefully executed.
