This hotel far exceeded our expectations, from the seamless check in to the well trained, attentive and caring team as well as by the quality of both the rooms, interiors and food offerings. It is a small residential hotel and they cater to this audience very well.

- The new Residence Inn by Marriott in Al Jaddaf is stunningly designed. When you enter the lobby you immediately get the feeling of being home, in an intimate surrounding with a lounge / living room feeling. Likewise the check in process is seated at a desk, with the front desk team seated as well.
- The hotel has 134 suites and is geared towards long term stay guests with facilities such as laundry room (self service), roof top pool and deck facing Downtown Dubai skyline with Burj Khalifa in center view as well as a well appointed gym. Sister property Marriott Al Jaddaf is directly opposite the hotel as well as the Element Al Jaddaf a 5 minute drive away (reviews linked).
- In the lobby there is a market store concept which has drinks and snacks to purchase if you need a quick pick me up during the day. It is focused on premium products and has chocolate from local UAE artisan chocolatiers Mirzam who create the most beautiful gifts and high quality chocolate creations.
- The staff and team at the hotel are very well trained and very hospitable, from arrival to the bell boy and security assisting with parking and unloading to the front desk, offering a smooth friendly knowledgeable check in to the housekeeping team who you can easily speak with if you need anything extra, it gives you the feeling of the hotel being run by a seasoned team.
- The design and hard product in the suite is likewise well designed and modern, starting with a fully equipped kitchen complete with microwave, electric cook top, fridge, freezer, toaster, and water boiler – perhaps missing was a nice coffee machine (although they have coffee available in the lobby). The bathrooms are on the smaller side but are functional and have all the standard amenities you need to settle in for a night, a week, or a month.
- Complimentary hot breakfast is included during your stay at the hotel. The team is very attentive and there is a clear focus on quality and presentation, which you can see on the below photos. Guests are given an a la carte menu to choose for example eggs any way or vegan breakfast hash alongside a self service open buffet with pastries, Arabic mezze, yogurts, condiments and juices. There is also a smoothie of the day which is presented in a shot glass! One example of the quality used in the hotel is the coffee machine they use is la cimbali which is one of the most high end Italian commerical coffee machines.

- The area around the hotel is still under development with both neighboring plots in various stages of construction as of April 2021. There is not major disturbances, however it should be noted the area is still up and coming, though has easy access to the creek (5 min away), downtown Dubai (10 min away) and DIFC / Trade Center (10 min away).
- The roof top pool is covered so those looking to catch a few rays of sun will find it mostly shaded. Likewise the pool is a bit small for laps in fact it is more of a large plunge pool to soak in and enjoy the views of Dubai.

- Use the ‘grocery’ shopping list in your room to fill out everything you need to make your stay more enjoyable, for example milk, fruits, snacks that you like and hand it to the front desk in the morning before 9am, they will stock your fridge during the day. This is a complimentary service, you are only billed for the actual cost of the products.
