• The cooking school is accessed via the iconic Mandarin Oriental hotel in Bangkok, after arriving at the hotel, you take one of the hotel boats to cross the river. In the class there are welcome drinks and small canapés offered as you find your seat. The setting is an old style wooden building which is traditional and modern at the same time with a luxurious aura. This is easily one of the best cooking schools in Asia and one of the best experiences for tourists visiting Bangkok.
• Private classes are offered from 2-5pm and group classes from 9apm to 1pm.
• The famous Chef Nahrain entertains the class with ancestors and funny tales about the ingredients and dishes as he teaches you step by step how to prepare them. There is a large mirror over his station so you can see the exact processes and techniques used.
• When the tutorial is over you head to one of the four cooking stations to attempt to repeat what the Chef just created for yourself, to learn hands on. All the main ingredients are portioned to save time and anything that needs to be marinated or requires more time is preprepared due to time constraints for the lesson. So you are left with the fun of assembling the dishes in no time at all!
• You will leave the course with amazing memories, photos and having met one of the best chefs in Thailand.
