Updated October 2026.

Gusti Italiani brings an Italian restaurant, delicatessen and gourmet food shop together in central Cannes. The Boulevard Carnot address is useful for a weekday lunch, imported ingredients or a prepared meal to take home.

During our visit, the shop immediately stood out for its serious deli counter. Whole cured hams hung above a broad display of Italian cheeses and charcuterie. The shelves and refrigerated counters made the space feel more like a specialist Italian market than a standard restaurant entrance.

This review is based on our visit and the photographs taken that day. Current hours, contact details and menu information were checked against the official website in October 2026.

Gusti Italiani Cannes Essential Details

Address: 3 Boulevard Carnot, 06400 Cannes, France

Restaurant hours: Monday to Friday, 12pm to 2pm

Boutique hours: Monday to Saturday, generally 8.30am to 7.30pm

Sunday: Closed

Telephone: +33 4 93 99 47 82

Style: Italian lunch restaurant, delicatessen and gourmet food shop

Best for: Pasta, charcuterie, Italian cheeses, takeaway dishes and pantry shopping

Official website: Gusti Italiani

The official FAQ lists the boutique closing time as 7pm, while other current pages state 7.30pm. Call ahead if arriving near closing time.

The Concept

Gusti Italiani has selected products from Italian producers since 1993. The Cannes boutique opened in 2000 and now covers about 200 square metres. The business says it works directly with around 300 Italian producers.

The concept has three clear parts. The boutique sells imported food and wine. The deli prepares fresh pasta, antipasti and ready made dishes. The restaurant serves a focused Italian lunch menu during the week.

This combination makes the address flexible. Visitors can sit down for lunch, collect food for later or shop for specialist ingredients in one stop.

Atmosphere And First Impressions

The deli counter is the visual centre of the shop. Rows of Italian cheeses sit below hanging cured hams. Packaged pasta and pantry products fill the surrounding displays.

On our visit, the presentation felt traditional and product led. There was little unnecessary decoration. The produce did the work, from Parmigiano Reggiano wedges to the large selection of charcuterie.

The entrance also displays the restaurant menu and a reservation code. This helps visitors understand that there is more than a food shop behind the storefront.

The Restaurant Menu

The restaurant focuses on familiar regional Italian cooking. The official menu includes carbonara, fresh tagliolini, ravioli, gnocchi, lasagne, carpaccio and salads.

Truffle appears throughout the menu. Options include tagliolini with truffle cream and seasonal fresh truffle. There is also lasagne with Alba truffle and truffled cooked ham.

In October 2026, the menu linked from the official website listed most pasta dishes between €20 and €25. Starters generally ranged from €12 to €28. Desserts ranged from €8 to €14.

The traditional tiramisu was listed at €12. Other desserts included panna cotta, affogato and a pear with Piedmont chocolate. Prices and daily suggestions can change, so check the current menu linked by the restaurant.

The Boutique And Deli Counter

The boutique is a destination in its own right. It carries Italian cheeses, cured meats, fresh pasta, sauces, wine and prepared dishes.

Fresh options can include ravioli, agnolotti, lasagne, antipasti, octopus salad and preserved vegetables. The official site also offers online ordering and collection.

The Parmigiano Reggiano display photographed during our visit was especially impressive. Large wrapped wedges filled the counter. The photographed price was €43 per kilogram, although shop prices should always be checked on the day.

Highlights

A large Italian deli counter with strong visual appeal

Direct relationships with specialist Italian producers

A focused weekday lunch menu built around pasta and regional dishes

Useful takeaway options for home, work or a picnic

A broad choice of cheese, charcuterie and pantry products

A central Cannes location near the railway station and city centre

Things To Note

The restaurant serves lunch only from Monday to Friday.

The boutique stays open longer and also opens on Saturday.

The business is closed on Sunday.

Truffle dishes and seasonal ingredients may change with availability.

The displayed menu and shop prices can change after the visit.

Booking is sensible for lunch because the service window lasts only two hours.

Practical Tips

Reserve before travelling if the restaurant is the main reason for the visit.

Arrive before the lunch rush to allow time to explore the boutique.

Ask the counter team about cheese, charcuterie and fresh pasta portions.

Check the daily suggestions before choosing from the regular menu.

Keep chilled purchases cool if continuing around Cannes afterward.

For another Italian meal in the area, read our Trattoria Quattro Valbonne review. Our Kokoro Cannes review covers another focused city centre lunch. Coffee fans can also see our Good Mate Coffee Cannes review.

Value

Gusti Italiani sits above casual takeaway pricing but remains reasonable for a specialist Cannes address. Pasta dishes around €20 to €25 are competitive for the city centre. The strongest value comes from the quality, choice and convenience of combining lunch with gourmet shopping.

The boutique can become expensive if several premium cheeses and cured meats are added. Buying smaller amounts allows more variety and keeps the total controlled.

The current restaurant hours are Monday to Friday from 12pm to 2pm. It does not open for dinner or weekend restaurant service.

Can you buy food without eating in the restaurant?

Yes. The boutique sells Italian groceries, cheese, charcuterie, wine and prepared dishes. Collection is also available through the official website.

Does Gusti Italiani offer vegetarian dishes?

Yes. The official FAQ confirms vegetarian choices. The current menu includes several meat free pasta, cheese and vegetable options.

Gusti Italiani is one of Cannes’ most useful addresses for anyone who enjoys traditional Italian produce. The deli counter is the star, while the restaurant adds a focused weekday lunch option.

Visit for the cheese, charcuterie and fresh pasta selection. Stay for lunch if the limited hours suit your plans. Even without a restaurant booking, the boutique offers plenty to explore and take home.
